Stranger Things season 4 first-look images released by Netflix

The much awaited ‘Stranger Things’ season 4 has been teased further by Netflix as the streamer has released a brand-new set of images for the same.

For the unaware minority, ‘Stranger Things’ is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the ’80s where a group of kids gets introduced to an alternate dimension housing dangerous creatures owing to illegal experiments at the local lab. They end up befriending one of the test subjects from the lab, named Eleven, who possesses supernatural powers.

The third season, which premiered in 2019 ended with the character of Jim Hopper seemingly perishing after the battle against the Mind Flayer at Starcourt Mall. However, in recent teases, it was revealed that he is alive and imprisoned somewhere in Russia.

According to an earlier interview by the creators of the show, the Duffer brothers: “Season 4 will find our favourite characters scattered throughout four different — but equally creepy — locations around the world, from snowy Russia to sunny California. Eleven, Mike and the rest of the crew will have to work together to defeat an even more vicious supernatural force and put a stop to the Upside Down once and for all.”

‘Stranger Things’ season 4 will release in two volume with the first one premiering on May 27, 2022 and the follow-up releasing on July 1, 2022.

The show features Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Brett Gelman, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Matthew Modine, among others.
