Netflix’s latest sci-fi venture ‘Stowaway’ is set to hit the screens and stars Anna Kendrick in the lead. The movie premieres on April 22.
Directed by Joe Penna, the star cast includes Daniel Dae Kim, Toni Collette and Shamier Anderson along with Kendrick.
The movie revolves around a mission undertaken by a group of 3 to find evidence that Mars can be treated as a second home.
Soon after take-off, the trio finds a stowaway in the spacecraft who now has no way back and is stuck onboard.
With no other alternative, he becomes a part of the mission and learns things quickly. But a mishap takes place, they only have enough oxygen to survive 3 people till they reach mars.
The official description of the movie reads:
“On a mission headed to Mars, an unintended stowaway accidentally causes severe damage to the spaceship’s life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially fatal outcome, the crew is forced to make an impossible decision.”
