ZEE5 has released the teaser for their upcoming original thriller State of Siege 26/11.
The show stars Arjan Bajwa, Mukul Dev, Sid Makkar, Sid Kapoor, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya and Tara Alisha Berry in pivotal roles.
The official description of the show reads as follows:
“When Mumbai was under siege in 2008, it was the NSG commandos that came to its rescue. Witness the untold stories of the brave heroes and the lesser-known facts of the horrid Mumbai attacks that shook the whole world.”
The teaser focuses on how the National Security Guard (NSG) dealt with the planned terrorist Mumbai attacks of 26/11. NSG’s operation for bringing down the terrorists involved in this particular attack was named Operation Black Tornado.
The name of the Operation is also a part of Sandeep Unnithan’s book that the show is based on – “Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11”.
State of Siege will be produced by Contiloe Pictures.
The show’s makers also brought in a real Lieutenant to help them gain insight on “the untold stories” from the days of the attacks and more:
It was announced earlier this year that Bijlani, Bajwa and Dahiya were going to be important cast members of the show as they will be seen playing the parts of driven NSG Commandos.
