Song Exploder: Netflix’s new podcast turned docuseries

Netflix has decided to turn its hit podcast series ‘Song Exploder’ into a docuseries of the same name.

Song exploder is a music podcast created by Hrishikesh Hirway in 2014, where musicians tell the story of how their songs were created.The docuseries is to follow the same format, where the host will break down the hits and tell the stories behind them.

The first batch of episodes are to delve into tracks including Alicia Keys’ “3 Hour Drive,” REM’s “Losing My Religion,” Ty Dolla $ign’s “LA,” and “Wait for It” from Hamilton.

The docuseries from host and executive producer Hrishikesh Hirway and filmmaker Morgan Neville is set to premiere on Netflix on October 2, 2020.
