Hoichoi, the Bengali entertainment platform has revealed the first teaser for its upcoming thriller web-series Shobdo Jobdo on YouTube. Starring Rajat Kapoor in the lead, the 52 seconds long clip begins with a snippets of Kapoor’s charater’s life which soon take a confusing and weird turn.
There are no dialogues in the teaser but the eerie and suspenseful music is a gripping factor. Clips of Kapoor seemingly drowining in a bath tub, discovering a mutilated body part on his dinner plate and waking up in confusion make up the montage.
The official description for the web series says:
Sougata is a well-known thriller writer of our times, with the publication of his first book. But situations get twisted when his past comes haunting the reality of his present. What disruption will the darkness of his past cause in Sougata’s current life?
Synopsis
Shobdo Jobdo has been directed by Sourav Chakraborty and also stars Paayel Sarkar, Subrat Dutta, Mumtaz Sorcar and, Koushik Roy.
