After experiencing a traumatic assault, nothing is the same for Kirby Mazrachi. Though the words are still the same, everyone and everything is in their place, still, she feels and sees things differently. Things for her are not how she left them. But no one else is noticing the difference. So, the events repeat, if not with her then with someone else.
The criminal can be anybody and they could be anywhere. She has been ripped off her freedom. A murder takes place which reminds her of her own case and she is determined to solve catch the criminal along with the reporter Dan Velazquez.
