Shahid Kapoor took to his Instagram sharing his eagerness to work on his digital debut. He will be seen in a Prime Video series helmed by the duo Raj & DK, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna.
Shahid Kapoor is all set to begin filming for the series along with the filmmakers and his co-actors. On 1 June, he posted his new tattooed look on Instagram with the caption: “Waiting on set call me soon @rajandk … can’t wait to share the frame with @ vijaysethupathi, sorry @raashiikhanna, I’ve got too used to having you around on set.”
Hours after Shahid’s post, Raashii Khanna shared a selfie with Vijay Sethupathi in her story, and wrote: “Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time.”
This project marks Shahid’s first collaboration with his co-actors Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, and filmmakers Raj and DK.
While talking about his digital debut, Kapoor earlier said: “I have been keen to collaborate with Raj and DK for a while. My favourite Indian show on Amazon Prime Video is The Family Man. I couldn’t think of anyone better for my digital debut than them.”
Raj and DK have been lauded for their highly successful web series ‘The Family Man’, starring Manoj Bajpayee. The second season, which premiered in June, received positive word of mouth and rave reviews.
