See season 2 on Apple TV+: Epic rivalry between brothers

Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for season 2 of its post-apocalyptic series ‘See’. The new season premieres on 27 August with the first episode, followed by a weekly episode every Friday.

See Season 1 opens in a dystopian world where human beings have lost the ability of sight. Baba Voss (Jason Momoa), the head the Alkenny tribe of marries Maghra, a pregnant woman seeking shelter. When the two babies she gives birth to have the gift of vision, Baba Voss does everything in his power to protect his family from evil.

In the trailer for See season 2, Baba Yoss attempts to get reunite his family while he finds himself in conflict with his brother Edo Voss (Dave Bautista), the primary hurdle in achieving what he wants. The trailer also shows glimpses of the upcoming war between Baba’s Kingdom of Payan and Edo’s Trivantian Republic. In a particular scene, Baba Yoss stirs up his men by saying: “They fight to enslave! We fight for freedom”.

See season 2 has been written by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast includes Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Alfre Woodard, Eden Epstein, Tom Mison, Hoon Lee, Olivia Cheng, David Hewlett, Tamara Tunie, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera  Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, and Yadira Guevara-Prip.

The series has been executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe, and Jonathan Tropper.

Before the release of See season 2, the show has already been renewed for the third season.
