F is for Family season 4: Animated comedy returns on Netflix

After three successful seasons, Netflix brings back the fourth season of the American animated sitcom, F is for Family. The new season will release on June 12.

F is for Family revolves around the antics of Frank Murphy, the short-tempered protagonist and his suburban dysfunctional Irish-American family. Set in the 1970s, the raunchy family comedy is based on the standup of Bill Burr, who also voices Frank Murphy in the show.

Produced by Gaumont International Television and Wild West Television, the show debuted with its first season in December 2015. Following its favourable reception, the creators of the show, Bill Burr and Michael Price came up with the second and third seasons in May 2017 and November 2018 respectively.

Voice-artists of the show, Mo Kollins and Kevin Michael Richardson were also nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance” in the previous seasons of the show in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
