‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’, SonyLIV’s web series on the rise and fall of infamous stockbroker Harshad Mehta, has landed the peak position on IMDb’s top 10 highest user-rated web series of 2020 list.
The Hansal Mehta directorial, rated 9.5 at the time of writing, has swept away both viewers and critics ever since its release in October.
The cast, which includes Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthary, also received plaudits for explosive performances.
The list is determined on the basis of individual reviews from IMDb users on a 10-point basis.
Jitendra Kumar-led ‘Panchayat’ claimed the number two spot, while Neeraj Pandey’s espionage thriller series ‘Special Ops’ came third.
Musical web series ‘Bandish Bandit and Mirzapur’, the only show on the list to have its second season release this year, closed out the top five respectively.
