‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ now streaming on Prime Video

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra led, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar‘ has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 20, across India and 240+ countries and territories worldwide. The thriller, that saw a theatrical release on March 19, reunites the leading pair after 2012’s ‘Ishaqzaade’.

Sharing news about its exclusive digital premiere on Amazon Prime, Arjun Kapoor (last seen in ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’) on Instagram wrote, “An intense and thrilling story. Watch #SandeepAurPinkyFaraar on @primevideoin (sic).”

The edgy narrative of ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ revolves around the escapades of Pinkesh (Kapoor) and Sandeep (Chopra) who besides their quirky names, seem to have diametrically opposite personalities with complicated backgrounds.

Pinkesh is a Haryanvi Police Officer while Sandeep comes from the cut-throat competitive corporate world. Their lives, on one fateful night suddenly intertwine and, thereafter, they are on a high-strung run.

The conflict inherent, in the existence of polarity, powerfully determines and shapes their destinies. Her sly and subtle scheming and his clever machinations create such an intriguing and intricate tangle that it becomes difficult for them to shake loose.

Besides the leads, Neena Gupta, Raghuvir Yadav, and Jaideep Ahlawat play important roles in the film.

‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ also marks the return of celebrated storyteller, Dibakar Banerjee to the big screen after six years, as its writer, producer, and director. Made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, it has music by Anu Malik and is shot majorly in North India.
