Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ recreated as animated series

Salman Khan’s iconic character Chulbul Pandey from the Bollywood hit ‘Dabangg’ franchise has a new look in Disney+Hotstar VIP’s ‘Dabangg – The Animated Series’.

‘Dabangg’, directed by Abhinav Kashyap and released in 2010, starred Salman Khan as a courageous Robin Hood-like cop with unconventional working practices.

‘Dabangg – The Animated Series’, produced by Cosmos-Maya and Arbaaz Khan Productions, is aimed at children and lovers of the franchise.

The action-comedy series, which is a version of the Bollywood blockbuster, follows police officer Chulbul Pandey as he fights to keep the city secure. In every difficult circumstance, he is accompanied by his younger brother Makkhi, who is fresh to the police force and tries to imitate his big brother.

Season 1’s first eight episodes are currently available on Disney+ Hotstar VIP in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with new episodes being uploaded on a regular basis. Further, the series will also be aired from May 31 every day at 12 pm on Cartoon Network.
