Saif Ali Khan to star in upcoming Netflix original

Actor Saif Ali Khan is in talks for starring in an upcoming project for Netflix. He has revealed that he is in the final stages of finalizing on his role in the film. This will be his second collaboration with the streamer after “Sacred Games”.

Further details are still under wraps but talking about this venture, Khan told PTI: “I recently heard a wonderful script for a Netflix movie. I absolutely loved the script, the idea and the director. We are trying to sort out the dates before we lock. We are almost there”.

Khan already has his hands deep in many projects. He recently finished shooting for “Bunty aur Babli 2” alongside Rani Mukherjee, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari.

He would then feature as Lankesh in the multilingual period saga “Adipurush” – a screen adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana.

He will also been seen on another OTT release called Tandav directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Talking about his upcoming releases, Khan said: ““I am excited with my lineup. I feel “Bhoot Police” and “Adipurush” need to release on the big screen. They are large screen family entertainers. I want both films to be 3D. “Adipurush” definitely will be. In “Adipurush”, I play Raavan and it’s just so exciting.”
