The sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s 1991 film Sadak is already on the receiving end of a lot of criticism amidst the anti Bollywood nepotism movement prevalent in the country at the moment.
The audience has made their feelings clear by making the trailer for Sadak 2 the most disliked trailer on YouTube with 6.6 million downvotes at the time of writing as opposed to 357K upvotes.
However, despite all the hate, the trailer has almost 24 million views and is trending on number one on the website. A fact which actor Pooja Bhatt too pointed out.
She wrote:

Sadak 2 will be exclusively released on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Furthermore, it is a bittersweet moment for the creators as Dutt was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and will be taking a break from work for treatment.
