SonyLIV’s ‘Rocket Boys’ series reveals first teaser

The first teaser trailer for the series ‘Rocket boys’ was revealed on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence day. The historical drama series will be streaming soon on SonyLIV.

The show is based on the lives of two of India’s most exemplary nuclear physicists, Vikram A. Sarabhai and Homi J. Bhabha, whose accomplishments contributed to the foundation of the nation.

The teaser gives us a glimpse into India’s first moments as an independent nation, just as Nehru’s speech echoes in the background. Bhabha and Sarabhai share a moment together, absorbing the significance of this historic occasion as they discuss the future that lies in store.

Rocket Boys dwells deep into their journey post-independence as they accomplish many great scientific achievements together and pave the way for a promising new generation.

It features Ishwak Singh and Jim Sarbh as Dr Vikram A. Sarabhai and Homi J. Bhabha respectively. Singh previously shot to fame with the series ‘Paatal Lok’, while Jim is known for his roles in films like ‘Neerja’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

Rocket Boys is created by Nikkhil Advani, Roy Kapur Films & Emmay Entertainment, directed by Abhay Pannu and Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, & Nikkhil Advani.
