Release date announced for season 3 of Netflix anime Castlevania

The release date for season three of Netflix’s immensely popular anime series ‘Castlevania’ has finally been announced. It will hit the platform on March 5.

Netflix posted on Twitter to confirm the date:

Talking about the new season, series director Samuel Deats said on Twitter:

“Castlevania Season 3 is coming back March 5th!! We’ve been working our butts off on it and I can’t wait for y’all to check it out!! (Hope y’all enjoy the official poster art for season 3! I’ve somehow kept up the tradition of squeezing in time to do it for this season, too.)”

The first two seasons of the series, which is loosely based off the video game Castlevania 3: Dracula’s curse, follow monster hunter Trevor Belmont, magician Sypha Belnades and vampire/human hybrid Alucard.

They face off against Alucard’s father Lord Dracula Tepes, who is enraged after ignorant humans burn his human wife.

With a seemingly conclusive end to season two, it will be interesting to see what the latest season brings to the series.
