ZEE5 has introduced the world to REJCTX season 2 with an official trailer. Last month, there was a promo released featuring Esha Gupta’s character. She is making her digital debut with the new season.
The official description for season 2 reads:
This year, the REJCTX are coming back. Will the youngsters reunite and fulfill their dreams, or will they be thwarted by a new enemy? Find out in Season 2.
Things are not as straightforward and the new trailer touches upon that. There are a lot of dark secrets and turn of events which will be uncovered in the upcoming season.
The footage begins with officer Rene (Gupta) inquiring about Anushka Rao’s (Kubbra Sait) death from Vice Principal Farhan Hussain (Sumeet Vyas). He explains that she was having an affair with a student named Aarav Sharma (Masi Wali).
Meanwhile, the group of students who call themselves the REJCTX are being blackmailed by a mysterious individual named X. As this is her final case, Rene too is hot on their tail because she wants to get to the bottom of Rao’s death before she’s done being a cop.
The trailer ends with a shocking reveal that a school janitor is Aarav’s doppelganger. This opens the story to endless possibilities.
Season 2 also stars Anisha Victor, Ayush Khurana, Ridhi Khakar, Pooja Shetty, Sadhika Syal, Prabhneet Singh, and Tanvi Shinde. REJCTX 2 has been directed and produced by Goldie Behl.
REJCTX 2 will premiere on ZEE5 on May 14.
