Record of Youth: Netflix nabs Korean drama

K-drama series, Record of Youth, is well on its way to land on Netflix in the later half of 2020.

Directed by An Gil-ho (Strangers, Memories of Alhambra), the Korean series will feature Park Bo-gum, Park So-dam and Byeon Woo-seok.

The plot centres on the lives of three individuals: Sa Hye-jun (Bo-gum), a pragmatic and ambitious young man, An Jeong-ha (So-dam), an opinionated aspiring makeup artist and Won Hae-hyo (Woo-seok), Sa Hye-jun’s best friend and a hardworking person.

Ha Myeong-hee (Temperatures of Love) will be adorning the screenplay with his heart-warming, realistic writing.

Record of Youth will be distributed globally by Netflix exclusively, but tvN has the show’s first window broadcasting rights in Korea.

The series is produced by Korea’s first and largest scripted television studio, Studio Dragon.

Netflix can be seen indulging heavily in Korean content with diverse genres such as Hellbound, All of Us are Dead and My Hollow Love amongst many other.
