Rasika Dugal has announced the wrap up for shoot for the second season of Disney+ Hotstar’s Out of Love. The shooting began last October and lasted for two months. Ooty and Coonoor were the main shooting locales for the series.
‘Out of Love’ is the Indian adapted work of the British series ‘Doctor Foster’. The story features Dugal as Dr Meera Kapoor and Purab Kohli as Akarsh Kapoor, who play the lead roles in the series. It narrates the story of a woman who finds that her partner is disloyal in their relationship. She struggles to cope up with knowing about her partner’s infidelity.
Dugal revealed in her social media posts that she is happy to wrap up the shoot in spite of the COVID pandemic. She said:
“Shooting for the second season of ‘Out Of Love’ felt like a work vacation in the mountains! I am blessed to be living an actor’s life and to be shooting outdoors despite the constraints and the challenges of the current times. I am glad that I got to be Dr Meera Kapoor for so long and I am very excited to have the viewers see the many shades of her in this season”
Dugal is also working on the season 2 of Netflix web series ‘Delhi Crime’ and in the directorial debut of Anshuman Jha’s Lord Curzon Ki Haveli.
