Rannvijay Singha to play professor in Netflix’s Mismatched

Netflix’s upcoming series Mismatched will showcase Rannvijay Singha as charming college professor who will encourage students to think big.

Mismatched, a Netflix Original series starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf in the lead, has recently unveiled one more important character from the series.

Rannvijay Singha plays the role of a snarky yet charismatic professor Sid, who tries to get a bunch of teenagers to think out of the box and come up with an app idea that may just change the world.

Talking about his new role, Singha said: “To be honest, we’ve all had at least one teacher like that in our lives, so Sid has been inspired by many of mine. He may come across as uncaring, brash and sarcastic, but his intentions are noble.”

Since his character plays cupid and will nudge students in the direction of making an app, Singha said: “I’m excited for audiences to watch this series on Netflix and who knows? Maybe it’ll inspire some people to create a brand new app or some others to fall in love!”

Director Akarsh Khurana recently took to Twitter to share the first look from Mismatched.

Nothing much has been revealed about the date of its release, but Mismatched can be expected to greet us soon. The show embarks on the story of two people. Rishi is searching for love, while Dimple dreams of being a tech-wizard.

Mismatched will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala, written by Gazal Dhaliwal and jointly directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari and Akarsh Khurana.
