Mohit Raina and Manoj Bajpayee join Jacqueline starrer Mrs. Serial Killer

Actors Mohit Raina and Manoj Bajpayee have joined the cast of Jacqueline Fernandez’s Netflix thriller Mrs. Serial Killer.

“This is my first film with Netflix and it has been a memorable journey with them,” Bajpayee said in a statement.

Raina, who’s also making his Netflix debut, said: “The idea of reaching over 149 million people across the world at one go is truly overwhelming.”

Bajpayee will also feature in the upcoming web series on Amazon Prime Video titled The Family Man, while Raina’s recently released ZEE5 series Kaafir is getting rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Mrs. Serial Killer will also be Fernandez’s debut in the digital world. She was announced as the lead back in April.

Produced by Farah Khan and directed by her husband Shirish Kunder, the film’s synopsis reads: “When her husband is framed and imprisoned for serial murders, a doting wife must perform a murder exactly like the serial killer, to prove her husband innocent.”

Mrs. Serial Killer is one of the ten movies with popular Indian filmmakers and producers announced by Netflix earlier this year.

Other titles include: Ghost Stories, Guilty, Freedom, Class of ’83, Yeh Ballet, Kaali Kuhi and Maska.
