The academy award-winning producer will be collaborating with Netflix under a multi-year first-look deal via his Demilo Films banner.
J. Miles Dale is currently serving as an executive producer and co-showrunner on the upcoming Netflix series ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities’. He also serves as executive producer on the Netflix series ‘Sex/Life’.
He produced The Shape of Water, 2018’s Best Picture, with longtime collaborator Guillermo del Toro. His latest release, Nightmare Alley, starring Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett, was nominated for four Academy Awards including a second Best Picture nomination for Dale.
Speaking on the creative partnership, Dale had this to say: “Having just produced two series on the TV side at Netflix, I’m beyond excited to begin this new adventure with the feature film team. Netflix has always been incredibly filmmaker friendly in my experience, and that support is so critical as we continue to explore the challenging and compelling stories that inspire us at Demilo Films.”
