Priyanka Chopra Jonas has joined a prominent list of narrators for HBO Max’s upcoming web series ‘A World of Calm’. It will begin streaming from October 1.
Her name was announced alongside Kate Winslet, who now join the likes of Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, Cillian Murphy, and Keanu Reeves as narrators.
A World of Calm is a collaboration between makers of the “sleep and meditation” app Calm and Nutopia, the team responsible for ‘One Strange Rock’ on Nat Geo.
The official synopsis by WarnerMedia reads:
“A timely antidote for our modern lives, each half-hour episode takes audiences on an immersive visual journey into another world. Apart from A World of Calm, Chopra Jonas is set to star in high-profile OTT titles for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
She will be part of a superhero film for kids on Netflix as well as lead the platform’s adaptation of the Aravind Adiga novel ‘The White Tiger’ alongside Rajkummar Rao.
