Amazon Prime Video has announced a renewal for Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh starrer ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’. Bachchan made his digital debut with the psychological thriller series, in 2020.
Abhishek Bachchan’s portrayal of Dr. Avinash Sabharwal’s character who turns into a serial killer to save his 6-year-old daughter received immense appreciation.
Bachchan was accompanied by Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, and Saiyami Kher in lead roles. Naveen Kasturia, previously seen in TVF’s Aspirants, will be joining the crew in a critical role in the upcoming sequel.

“Given the popularity and sheer anticipation around Breathe: Into The Shadows, a new season was imminent. As the plot intensifies and new characters infuse raw energy into the narrative, the stakes and the thrill go higher this season.”
‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’ was a continuation to R Madhavan and Amit Sadh headed series, ‘Breathe’. Sadh played the role of Kabir Sawant, a Crime officer.
The second season is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. It is created and produced by Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Mayank Sharma. The production of the new season has already begun in New Delhi and Mumbai.
