Prime Video announces slate of upcoming Indian projects

Prime Video has shared a video that provides a glimpse into the many new series and movies it will be streaming for Indian viewers. The lineup includes original series and films as well as returning series and unscripted projects.

The streaming platform announced more than 40 titles to be released over the next two years including movies in Hindi and Telugu and shows in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The three original fims announced are ‘Ammu’ which will be in Telegu and ‘Aye Watan..Mere Watan’ and ‘Maja Maa’ which will be hindi projects. The list of original series includes Adhura, Bambai Meri Jaan, Call Me Bae, Crash Course, Dahaad, among many others.

Some of the existing original series getting a new season are Mirzapur, The Family Man, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Panchayat, Comicstaan, Four More Shots Please!, Paatal Lok, Mumbai Diaries and Made in Heaven.

Many of this projects are set to star high profile actors and actresses such as Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Multiple unscripted projects were also included in the announcement such as ‘This is AP Dhillon’, ‘Cinema… Marte Dum Tak’, ‘Dancing on the Grave’ and ‘India Love Project’

Apart from original content, some of the titles will include co-productions with popular houses such as Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Ajay Devgn Films and Excel Media.
