‘Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie’ gets worldwide release via Netflix

Sailor Moon franchise’s latest ‘Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie’ is all set to release on Netflix on June 3 after a long wait.

Netflix revealed the trailer of the two-part film which is based on the Dream arc of the manga series by Naoko Takeuchi. It follows the life of Sailor Guardians as they grow from teenagers.

The synopsis of the movie reads:

“When a dark power enshrouds the Earth after a total solar eclipse, the scattered Sailor Guardians must reunite to bring light back into the world”.

The movie is an adaptation of the Dream storyline which occurred in the Manga. The story takes place in April during the century’s total solar eclipse. The peace is destroyed when the Dead Moon Circus reaches Tokyo and wants to ruin Earth’s happiness. They are after the Legendary Silver Crystal. The Sailor Guardians must save the Earth. The movie also shows the first love of Chibi-Usa and Helios.

Originally in Japanese, the movie is dubbed in various international languages. The two part film, will be combined into one for its Netflix release.
