MX Player has released its latest original series titled, Pati Patni Aur Woh. Even though it shares its title with the Bollywood film, the story has an interesting angle to it.
The plot is set in Mathura and follows a young man, Mohan, whose wife Surabhi recently passed away. He hopes to get married for a second time because her wife’s ghost wishes for him to do so. However, when he does get married, Surabhi’s spirit is jealous of Mohan’s new wife and decides to stay back and prevent their love from blossoming.
As per the recently released trailer, Mohan is head over heels for his new wife who is extremely beautiful but Surabhi’s ghost does her best to cause problems. She warns her ex-husband of dire consequences should he defy her.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is a romantic comedy with a supernatural twist on it and stars Riya Sen, Vinny Arora Dhoopar, Anant Vidhaat, Saksham Shukla, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Jaspal Sharma.
It has been directed by Nisheeth Neerav Neelkanth and is now streaming on MX Player.
