The release date for season 2 of ‘Only Murders in the Building’, a comedy murder-mystery series on Hulu, has been announced. It comes out on June 28.
The clip shows the three main characters, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez), trying to reveal the release date but running out of time, only for it to be announced at the end through text.
The series, which had 10 episodes in season 1, premiered in August last year and was received well by the audiences and critics.
The first season revolves around the death of one of the residents in their building named Tim Kono. The trio investigates the murder, documenting the events on their true-crime podcast, which has the same name as the show.
Right at the end of season 1, Mabel is found next to the body of another resident, but she claims she isn’t the culprit. This will likely form the crux of season 2.
Only Murders in the Building also serves as the return of Gomez to television nearly a decade after she last played Alex in ‘The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex’.
