Nicholas Galitzine has been announced to star alongside Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway in Prime Video’s upcoming romantic film, ‘The Idea of You’. The project will go into production in October.
‘The Idea of You’ is based on Robinne Lee’s eponymous bestselling novel, published in 2017.
The plot follows a 40-year-old divorced mother Sophie (Hathaway) who takes her teenage daughter to Coachella after her ex-husband cancels the trip.
There, she runs into 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Galitzine), the lead singer of a famous boy band named August Moon.
The film will be directed by Michael Showalter and the screenplay will be adapted by Tony Award nominee Jennifer Westfeldt. Galitzine recently starred in Netflix’s ‘Purple Hearts’ opposite Sophia Carson.
He will feature next in Prime Video’s romantic comedy ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’.
