Netflix has revealed that the high acclaimed teenage series, ‘Never Have I Ever’ will return with it sophomore season on July 15. The show, which premiered in April 2020 deals with the daily shenanigans of an Indian American girl growing up in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
The second season of ‘Never Have I Ever’ will see Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) deal with ongoing family drama and the brand-new love triangle she’s landed herself into with Ben (Jaren Lewison) and Paxton (Darren Barnet). Her only support is her two best friends Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) who can guide her through these turbulent waters.
The streamer has also announced that the cast and creators of the show will be gathering for a virtual trailer launch event for season 2 on June 17 at 8pm PT.
The fan-focused event will feature Mindy Kaling, Lang Fisher, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, and Megan Suri.
The build up to the actual trailer launch will be paved with games, a fan Q&A, and exclusive teaser clips in a fun filled evening.
‘Never Have I Ever’ is the brain child of executive producer Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher acting as co-creator, executive producer, showrunner, and writer.
