Never Have I Ever season 2 to begin production in November

Popular Netflix comedy web series ‘Never Have I Ever’ will begin production for its second season in November.

Netflix had announced its decision to renew the show back in July:

Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the show has managed to avoid being axed due to Covid-19, unlike some titles on the platform. Glow season 4 was one of the victims.

As per Variety, the show’s makers are aiming to start filming by November 10. This would put it on course for a mid-2021 release.

However, with the pandemic still affecting production all over the world, any delays are still possible.

The series, which premiered on April 27 this year, revolves around Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), a first-generation Indian-American teenager who struggles to navigate through high school.

The cast of Never Have I Ever also includes Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Ramona Young and Lee Rodriguez.
