Netflix’s upcoming ‘Trigger Warning’ to be led by Jessica Alba

Netflix has announced that its upcoming action-thriller Trigger Warning will be led by the Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba.

The official description of the series reads as follows:

A traumatized veteran inherits her grandfather’s bar after his untimely death, and is faced with a moral dilemma as she discovers the truth behind his death.

Trigger Warning will also be produced by the actress and directed by Indonesian filmmaker Mouly Surya. Surya is known for her work in films like Marlina The Murderer in Four Acts and Fiksi.

Along with Trigger Warning, Alba also has another project in the works in the streaming space. The actress is all set to host and executively produce Disney+’s Parenting Without Borders (working title).

The travel series will be based on the books of the same name and “will follow Alba as she immerses herself with families around the world, exploring the parenting beliefs and practices shaping families today.”

Her current TV show LA’s Finest is ready for a season two. Alba recently took to Instagram to make the reveal the trailer:

Netflix has recently made several announcements related to their upcoming projects even during times of crisis.

Besides Trigger Warning, the streaming giant has made deals with other high profile stars like Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot for Red Notice. Johnson will also be seen alongside Emily Blunt in a superhero film that is likely to be acquired by Netflix as well.
