Netflix’s new comedy special has Kevin Hart working from home

Netflix released the trailer of Zero Fucks Given, Kevin Hart’s standup comedy special, which will be available for streaming from November 17, 2020.

The special episode will see the stand-up comedian, actor (Central Intelligence, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), and producer in his element, as he dishes out laughs from the comfort of his home. Hart will crack you up with his no holds barred performance.

Zero Fucks Given will see Hart perform observational comedy about everything under the sun, but this time it won’t be in a stadium, arena, or a theatre. Rather, he would be tickling your funny bone from his living room.

Touted as a Netflix comedy event, it continues the actor’s association with the streaming giant following the release of a docuseries last year, Don’t F**k This Up.

It was followed by the first-ever comedy festival on the platform, Netflix Is A Joke Fest, of which Hart was also a part.

The trailer of Zero Fucks Given starts with Hart in his pyjama set explaining why he is doing what he is doing in his house. It is because he no longer feels comfortable anywhere else but his house.

And that comforts provides him with the boost he needs to let it all fly since he doesn’t feel the need of ‘holding back in his household’.

With zero filter and zero apologies, he goes on about his wife and kids, the various controversies he found himself surrounded with along the past few years, male group chats, sex after 40, and living in the times of a pandemic.

From London 2019 to Los Angeles 2020, Zero Fucks Given portrays how the dynamics of performing standup has changed within a year. Kevin Hart: Irresponsible premiered on Netflix on April 2, 2019. It was a live event where Hart talked about his family, travels, and a year full of reckless behaviour in front of a sold-out crowd in London.

For a standup comedian, going from a roaring audience to a handful of people within the confines of his home couldn’t have been easy, but Hart makes it work with this new special. In the trailer, select few people can be seen with their masks on, a live audience to enjoy Hart’s comedy.
