Netflix has confirmed a season two for its superhero drama-comedy Umbrella Academy with a series of mysterious posters.
The streaming platform took to Twitter and Instagram to make the exciting announcement by teasing the audiences with a set of posters:
Reports of season two came out earlier last year.
No release date has been confirmed yet, however, Netflix does state that the entire cast (and their favourite time travel) will be back for the upcoming season.
Season one’s cast included Ellen Page, Top Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min amongst others.
The web series revolves around seven superhero siblings who are collectively known as The Umbrella Academy.
Umbrella Academy is based on the comic book series created by Gerard Way has been adapted for Netflix by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater. The first season of the show premiered last year in February.
