Netflix’s Ozark renewed for a fourth and final season

Netflix has renewed its original drama Ozark for a fourth and final season that will be split into two parts.

The last season of the gripping web series will consist of 14 episodes in total with each part comprising of seven episodes whereas every other season has had 10 episodes so far.

The cast of Ozark includes Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner (Modern Love), Janet McTeer, Tom Pelphrey, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Lisa Emery and Jessica Frances Dukes.

The official description of Ozark is as follows:

Ozark: Their Last Resort. The Byrdes, husband and wife Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney), their teenage kids Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz) and Jonah (Skylar Gaertner) — are for all intents and purposes an ordinary family. Ordinary save for Marty’s job: The top money launderer for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico. Now streaming, only on Netflix.

The money laundering drama has received popularity worldwide and a whopping 14 nominations at the Emmy Awards in 2017. In 2019, Bateman won an Emmy Award for the category of ‘Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series’.

Netflix has recently made major announcements in terms of new content and renewals. This includes the upcoming season of Into The Night and the start of series like The Great Heist and Down to Earth.
