There are other ways, however. Content marketing agency NeoMam Studios used the search engine Flixable and Google’s Keyword Planner to map out which Netflix original anime is the most popular around the world.
Evidently, The Seven Deadly Sins came out on to by claiming the top spot in 127 countries. Its new season The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods recently came out on Netflix, with The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement set to begin airing in January.
Other popular anime included BEASTARS, BLAME!, Kengan Ashura, Baki and Castlevania, which has announced its fourth season.
In recent years, the platform has been amping up its anime slate in a bid to compete with the animated content on existing and upcoming streaming platforms.
Apart from creating anime series adaptations of popular video game franchises, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell and Cyberpunk to name a few, it has also announced its first Spanish original anime.
Older fan-favourites such as Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece and the original Beyblade series have found their way to its content library as well.
