Netflix now available in Hindi language

Netflix has recently launched its Hindi user interface in a bid to enable its Hindi-preferring subscribers to more easily manoeuvre its Indian and International shows.

The title cards, descriptions, names and all other display texts will be spelt out in Hindi if the option is pre-selected by the user.

According to a recent announcement by Netflix, this new feature has been extended across all gadgets of access – TVs, PCs, tablets and mobile phones.

The announcement also elaborated on the procedure of selecting the newly introduced user interface. In order to make the Hindi interface active, Netflix users can go to the Manage Profile Section and switch to their preferred language using the Language option present.

This feature will change the individual language settings of the particular profile and all profiles under a single account (maximum five) can have their own different language settings. This move can make Netflix more accessible and linguistically inclusive entertainment platform.

According to the announcement, this feature is not location-dependent and people outside India can also enable this feature on their account profiles.

Netflix has invested heavily on Indian content in a bid to keep itself a notch higher than the competition. To beat the race, it recently announced a mammoth content slate for Indian audiences with a whopping 17 titles (12 films and 5 web series).

After receiving strong reviews on its reality dating series, Indian Matchmaking, Netflix recently also released Raat Akeli Hai, a crime thriller, bringing back Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte for the second time, who were last seen together in Sacred Games.

Additionally, Netflix made a recent announcement of a new HD plan for its users using mobile for streaming.
