Netflix’s Lucifer S5 is bringing a new addition with a familiar face

Netflix has released the explosive trailer for the fifth season of Lucifer. The part one of the new season is set to release on August 21 starring Tom Ellis in the lead.

The official description of the show is as follows:

Lucifer, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. Season 5 debuts in 2020. 

The cast of the show includes Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, D.B. Woodside, Rachel Harris, Scarlett Estevez and Aimee Garcia amongst others.

Besides Lucifer, Netflix has announced a string of new seasons and series such as Umbrella Academy 2, Away and Ozark 4.
