Netflix’s ‘Love and Monsters’ depicts battle for survival

‘Love and Monsters’ is set to make its digital premiere on Netflix. Starring Dylan O’Brien in the lead, the movie will release on April 14, 2021.

Initially released only in the USA in October 2020, ‘Love and Monsters’ will be now available on Netflix for everyone. The movie also stars Jessica Henwick, Michael Rooker, Dan Ewing and Ariana Greenblatt.

The story of ‘Love and Monsters’ showcases a world after the monster apocalypse. Joel Dawson (O’Brien) gets separated from his high-school girlfriend Aimee (Henwick) as the monsters take control of the earth. He starts living in underground colonies with some other survivors.

After reconnecting with his girlfriend seven years later through the radio, Joel (O’Brien) begins his search for Aimee (Henwick), risking his life with dangerous monsters. Clyde Dutton (Rooker), Minnow (Greenblatt), and a dog named ‘Boy’ join him on his venture and help him survive.

Will he be able to reunite with his love while battling the vicious monsters?

Directed by Michael Matthews, ‘Love and Monsters’ is co-produced by Entertainment One (What If) and 21 Laps Entertainment (Stranger Things).

‘Love and Monsters’ has recently grabbed a spot in the 2021 Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. The star cast of the film also took to their social media accounts to celebrate the milestone.
