Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ sequel introduces new cast

Netflix’s in-development ‘Knives Out’ sequel adds four new actors to its cast. Filmmaker Rian Johnson will be back to direct the whodunit thriller.

2019’s murder mystery ‘Knives out’ kept the viewers on the edge of the seat till the very end. It featured Ana De Armas, Chris Evans, Danial Craig, Late Christopher Plummer, among others playing important roles. For the upcoming sequel, Craig will reprise his role as Detective Benoit Black.

Joining him will be four new actors: Kathryn Hahn, David Batista, Edward Norton, and Janelle Monae. An interesting trivia related to the new star cast is that three of them, Hahn, Batista, Norton, have previously been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Observing the critical and commercial success of the film, Netflix cracked a deal to develop two upcoming sequels of Knives Out for $450 million, as per the reports. Johnson will also be producing the movie along with Ram Bergman, under their T-Street banner.

The details of the sequel have been kept under wraps. The production is expected to go on the floors next year in Greece.
