The streamer has announced a brand-new original film starring Jitendra Kumar titled, ‘Jaadugar’. As the name indicates, the film will see him play a magic performer. It also stars Arushi Sharma in a prominent role.
After a successful second season of ‘Panchayat’, Jeetu bhaiya is back with an original movie on Netflix that blends sports, romance and grass-root struggles.
The official synopsis reads:
“Magic Meenu, a small-time magician in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh has to win a local football tournament in order to marry the love of his life. There are just two things against him — the girl doesn’t love him back and his team hasn’t won a game in years! Friendships are tested and hearts are mended as love meets magic in this heartwarming sports comedy.”
The short announcement video that the streamer has released for the film showcases Jeetu in outlandish outfits, performing magic tricks to a mellow flute track.
‘Jaadugar’ has been directed by Sameer Saxena and written by Biswapati Sarkar. It is scheduled for a July 15 release.
