Starring Fahadh Faasil, ‘Irul’ will premiere on Netflix on April 2, 2021. The recently launched trailer of the movie promises a story full of suspense.
The plot of ‘Irul’ revolves around only three characters. Soubin Shahir and Darshana Rajendran star with Faasil in the lead.
The psychological thriller outlines the mysterious murders of women whose killer is one of the three main characters. The trailer shows a glimpse of dramatic scenes in an empty house on a rainy night.
The synopsis on Netflix reads:
“When a car breakdown forces a couple to seek shelter in a nearby home, conversations with the stranger inside soon suggests there’s a killer among them.”
The movie has been categorised as chilling, scary and dark.
The filming of ‘Irul’ was completed during the pandemic in just one month at one location. The Malayalam movie is the directorial debut of Naseef Yusuf Izuddin. It is a joint production of Anto Joseph Film Company and Plan J Studios.
