Netflix has expanded its production hub in Tres Cantos in Madrid by opening 5 new stages. The move is aimed at highlighting the streamer’s commitment to the creative community in Spain.
Since its inception in 2019, Tres Cantos has doubled its capacity and now features 10 sets and a multi-purpose space measuring over 22,000 m2.
It comprises production offices, makeup, hair and wardrobe areas, among other features. Netflix even opened post production facilities next to the stages, offering state of the art technology to creators. Tres Cantos also houses Spain’s first remote editing system.
The property has seen the production of shows like ‘Élite’, ‘La noche más larga’, ‘Valeria’, ‘Fuimos canciones’ or ‘Criminal’, and the globally acclaimed ‘La casa de papel’.
