Netflix Games entails immersive experience of favourite shows for Android users

Netflix has announced a brand-new feature with immersive games inspired by its cherished shows to gift viewers a sweeping experience.

‘Netflix Games’ made a global debut on November 3, with Android games being a part of Netflix subscription for its subscribers. The streamer is taking its baby steps in the gaming arena and the various games included in the launch are — ‘Stranger Things: 1984’ (BonusXP), ‘Stranger Things 3: The Game’ (BonusXP), ‘Shooting Hoops’ (Frosty Pop), ‘Card Blast’ (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and ‘Teeter Up’ (Frosty Pop).

Netflix subscription is your all-access pass without any additional in-app purchases. Both Android phone and tablet users will find a specific tab for games. After selection of a preferred game, they will be redirected to Play Store to install and play. iOS users will have to wait for their version to roll out.

The games will be available in several languages as offered by Netflix for its online content and will be set as per your preference. If your desired language isn’t available yet, then it will be set to English as default.

The feature will be available for playing on every device signed in with a particular account. On hitting the device limit, you will be notified to vacate a slot to continue further.

These games are not available for kids profiles. While some games require an active internet connection, others have downloadable formats for ease in offline play. The games have been designed for every type of player ranging from novice to pro gamers. Everyone can have fun — playing and indulging more in their favourite shows and characters.
