Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming romcom film Desperados starring Nasim Pedrad which is all set to release on July 3.
Besides Pedrad, the cast includes Anna Camp, Sarah Burns, Lamorne Morris, Robbie Amell and Heather Graham.
The official description of the movie is as follows:
A panicked young woman (Pedrad) and her two best friends (Camp & Burns) fly to Mexico to delete a ranting email she sent to her new boyfriend. On arrival, they run into her former beau (Lamorne Morris), who soon gets caught up in their frantic scheme.
Besides Desperados, Pedrad and Morris have been previously seen together as a couple in the popular sitcom New Girl. Pedrad took to Instagram to make the announcement:
Amell, on the other hand, plays the lead in Amazon Prime Video’s original Upload. The actor is also reportedly working on a spinoff series of Code 8 with his brother, Stephen Amell for the OTT platform Quibi.
Netflix has recently announced a string of slated original movies and documentaries including Anushka Sharma’s Bulbbul and Athlete A amongst others.
