Netflix anthology ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’ premieres on April 16

Netflix has announced that its next anthology film ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’, after Lust Stories (2018) and Ghost Stories (2020), will premiere on April 16.

Similar to the other anthologies, the film will explore four distinct stories by four directors. Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani each helm a short story.

As per the platform, Ajeeb Daastaans will explore “human flaws and emotions like jealousy, entitlement, prejudices and toxicity, which are often entangled at the heart of a relationship”.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, the film’s stellar cast features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Inayat Verma, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul and Tota Roy Chowdhury.
