Netflix announces 6 titles shot in Turkey

It looks like fans in Turkey will be getting their fill of entertainment soon, as Netflix has announced six more originals, including a renewal for the drama series The Gift which will be shot in the beautiful country.

Pelin Distas, Director of Original Content, placed emphasis on Turkey’s beauty and culture as a big reason in shooting the upcoming originals there.

“Turkey, with its rich history and cultural heritage, is home to many untold stories. We also know that we have great writers, great actors, great directors and great crews. We believe that these authentic stories, told by these amazing talents, would be a joy to watch for our members all around the world. This is why we continue to invest in more and more Netflix originals in Turkey.”
