As Halloween draws closer, spookiness grows and Netflix knows how to help with that. The streaming giant has released a montage trailer of its upcoming chilling horror and thriller movies.
The short teaser trailer includes a wide list of movies which combine both the horror and thriller genre. The four movies are In the Shadow of the Moon, In the Tall Grass, Fractured and Rattlesnake.
In the Shadow of the Moon is set in 1988 and revolves around a police officer trying to catch a serial killer who only resurfaces every nine years. The movie has been directed by Jim Mickle who is known for his previous work in the thriller genre.
In the Tall Grass is based on the famous novella of the same name by Stephen King. The cast includes horror film star Patrick Wilson who is known for his previous roles in The Conjuring series.
You’ll find Sam Worthington in Fracture, an upcoming thriller movie directed by Brad Anderson. The plot will display a father desperately searching for his daughter after she disappears without a trace.
Last but not least, the survival horror movie Rattlesnake has been directed by Zak Hilditch who also worked on the horror movie 1922. The movie will see Katrina; being played by Carmen Ejogo, driving across the country with her daughter. When the duo’s car breaks down and Katrina is bitten by a rattlesnake, a fight for survival begins.
