Neha Dhupia’s short film ‘Step Out’ releases on Disney Plus Hotstar

Neha Dhupia’s short film released on the streaming platform, Disney Plus Hotstar on February 4. The 11-minute movie encapsulates a conversation between a therapist and her patient.

‘Step Out’ has been labelled as a psychological thriller. The film captures the psychological trauma of lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A large portion of the footage covers a video conferencing session between a psychiatrist, Dr Rekha and her hyper young patient, Krish.

The 11-minutes movie stars Neha Dhupia as the psychiatrist and Dev Dutt as the patient. 

‘Step Out’ is produced by Dhupia under her banner Big Girl Productions alongside Hridaye Nagpal’s and Suraj Wadhwa’s Strange Love Studios.

Nagpal and Wadhwa are also the writers of the short-film. Cinematography and music of the short film are headed by Raza Mehta and Pruthu Parab respectively.
