Naomi Scott to star in Netflix’s Anatomy of a Scandal

Naomi Scott, actor-singer, is set to star in Netflix’s ‘Anatomy of a Scandal’. It will be a six-episode anthology based on Sarah Vaughan’s novel of the same name.

27-year-old English actress is much acclaimed for her roles as Princess Jasmine in Disney’s musical fantasy Aladdin, and as Elena Houghlin in Charlie’s Angels.

Anatomy of a Scandal, similar to the novel, will explore the scandalous lives of British elites and how women get entangled in malicious affairs. The suspenseful series will explore the themes of sexuality, consent, and privilege.

Scott will be seen as Olivia Lytton, a parliamentary researcher who is anticipating a successful future. Lytton will be seen bickering with her own share of foes.

The anthology will also star Sienna Miller, Michelle Dockery and Rupert Friend. 

David E. Kelley, writer and producer, and Melissa James Gibson, Canadian born playwright will serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners of the web series along with S.J. Clarkson. Clarkson reportedly will also direct the hour-long episodes of the anthology.

Liza Chasin, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Allie Goss will also be executive producers and author Sarah Vaughan and Margaret Chernin will co-exec produce the upcoming series.

Anatomy of a Scandal will focus on a new storyline each season.
